Description

The Cure's original UK issue LP "Faith" on Fiction/Polydor from 1981 is a must-have for any fan of 1980s New Wave and Indie Rock. This full-range fidelity record in black vinyl features the iconic band's unique style and comes in its original inner sleeve and cover. With a catalogue number of FIX 6 and a speed of 33RPM, this first edition LP offers an excellent listening experience for those who appreciate the music of The Cure from that era.
Some fair amount of play wear marks on both sides, I have played it rather a lot since 1981 (all pictured under harshest light available). but on playtest it is excellent, with almost no surface noise, and no pops skips or hisses bar one tiny pop at the start of the final track. There is a scuff on the last track of side two but it’s purely cosmetic it causes the tiniest pop on play. I was surprised with the play tests quality considering the visual but plays wonderfully very much a VG+ on listening.
The record has been a part of my collection since release, hence the Woolworths price sticker still being attached.
Only letting it go as it doesn’t get played enough and I have far too many records.
The only real ‘issue’ with this record is the price sticker still being there.
