This auction is for a great 7" single by The Damned, featuring I Can't Be Happy Today and a brilliant cover of Ballroom Blitz, with Lemmy on Bass, on the B side.
It is the rare early original version from 1979, with a full colour picture sleeve.
This was released in 1979 on Chiswick Records, under reference CHIS 120 and is a very rare A Label promo version.
It also has the runout markings on the disc showing "Capts last laught" inscribed on the B side.
I have owned this great single from new and although it is now over 40 years old, both the sleeve and record remain in excellent condition, with just some normal sleeve wear present, as shown in the pictures.
Over the last 43 years I have built up a large collection of Records, CD's, rock memorabilia and other items, but now sadly I am having to sell the majority of it.
Over the next few months I will therefore be selling loads of great Records, CD's, T Shirts, Badges, Patches, Programme's etc so do keep any eye on my other items for sale and also my upcoming auctions.
The single will be securely packaged in a purpose built 7" single cardboard box, to ensure it is not damaged in transit.
This is a great item, in excellent condition, but it is here to be sold and I am selling with NO RESERVE PRICE and a low starting price, so someone could get a bargain.
