Description

One of the first vinyl LPs I ever bought, and unquestionably one of the finest punk albums ever released, this is an original 1979 pressing featuring the hit singles 'Love Song', 'I Just Can't Be Happy Today' and 'Smash It Up'. Other stand out tracks include the superb MC5 cover 'Looking At You' (still a massive favourite on live tours), 'Melody Lee' and the wonderful 'Plan 9 Channel 7'. The high standard of songwriting and musicianship evident on this album placed them head and shoulders above their contemporaries, all lavishly dusted off with some fabulous and often very dark humour!  I have lovingly looked after this precious LP for almost 40 years, but now it needs an equally caring new home. All photos are the actual record. My price reflects the extremely good condition of this special item and the difficulty in parting with such a tremendously treasured piece of musical history. I always aim to ship out deliveries within 24 hours of purchase - my feedback from previous customers is testament to that.
