Description
(Stiff Records BUY 10 UK 7" 1977)
This is a 1977 UK original 7" Single pressing. It has a top opening front laminated Picture Sleeve which is printed on card. There is a flipback at both side edges of the rear sleeve. "Delga" is printed on the left flipback. This is short for "Delga Press Limited". The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has black & white solid paper "Stiff Records" labels. It has 1st press A-1U/ B-1U matrix stampers. "A PORKY PRIME CUT" and "EG" are machine etched in the play-out dead wax on the A-side. "THIS IS YOUR CAPTAIN SPEAKING" and "EG" are machine etched in the play-out dead wax on the B-side.
A genuine 1977 UK 7" pressing of this classic 1977 UK Punk single. These are not that common. They are the next best UK original 1977 pressing after the rare UK pressing which has "Island Records" logo on the rear sleeve. Sleeve: There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is a very small 2.5 cm stain on the rear sleeve. This is over Dave Vanian's face. It is a bit thicker than a hairline mark. It's really not too noticeable. There is some light, very mild or very minor ringwear on a few areas. There are no seam splits. Overall, EXCELLENT condition.
Vinyl: There are some light, mild, very mild or more moderate surface sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, which can only be seen under a strong light. There are a few light hairline surface marks that go around the groove slightly on the 1st track on the B-side. These surface marks seem to be approximately 5 cm in length. There is a 2.5 cm surface rub mark on the B-side too. Overall, Good+ condition. The labels are in Excellent+ condition and show minimal spindle wear only.
I have play tested this single in its entirety & it plays Very Good+ to Near Excellent overall. There is some light, mild, very mild or very minor crackle noticeable in some quieter places. There are no clicks or pops. Overall, a very decent audio copy.
I shall place the vinyl into a separate plain paper sleeve. This will protect the original picture sleeve from any damage during the shipping process.

MINT Condition = A perfect copy! Almost impossible to find like this.
NEAR MINT Condition = Very nearly mint just slightly under, There may be a very few, very light paper surface sleeve rubs that can hardly be seen under strong light. This disc has been played a couple of times at most. The sleeve is virtually perfect - there is very minimal wear only.
EXCELLENT Condition = A clean & tidy copy that shows minimal defects. There will be light, very mild or very minor surface sleeve rubs. There will be no scratches. The cover will be very nice & clean with maybe minimal creasing, ringwear or edge rubbing wear etc...
NEAR EXCELLENT Condition = You can tell this record has been played a few times, but it has been well cared for. There will be minor surface marks only. The sleeve may have light, mild or very mild creasing,ringwear & very mild rubbing wear to the edges etc.... Overall, it will be a very serviceable copy that you will be pleased with.
Very Good Condition = A well played but very decent overall copy. There will be a few marks on the vinyl, but they won't be nasty scratches, just relatively light needle scuffs and sleeve removal marks, they will be noticeable but won't detract from play too much. Cover will show signs of storage/ ageing, e.g., creasing, slight folding, spinewear, ringwear or sticker tears etc... The record will not be trashed!!
Please note that I also use "+" or "-" symbols for this grading. A plus symbol is obviously at the top end of "Very Good" & is really not far from being in "near excellent" condition. The minus symbol obviously means it is at the lower end. This will mean that it is near to being in "Good+" condition.

Royal Mail have very recently increased their postage rates. So I have revised my postage costs to reflect their increases. (Please note that these prices include packaging costs too)
Double LPs are classed as two LPs. Also posters, inserts, etc.. can increase postage costs. One parcel must not exceed 2kg (approximately 4-6 LPS).
All records will be sent in high quality vinyl mailers with at least two card stiffeners either side of the LP or 7" Single. I use a cruciform box for larger orders (3-6 LPs). All parcels will be marked "Fragile" and dispatch time will generally be between 1-3 days after payment.
I will also remove the vinyl from the sleeve & place them in a re-sealable polythene sleeve. In order to prevent seam splits. Depending on the inner sleeve; I often remove the vinyl from the inner sleeve & place it in a separate plain paper, or polythene-lined, plain inner sleeve. I am very conscientious and careful when packaging your LP(s).
I consider my postage & packaging costs to be very transparent & very fair. Packaging costs will generally be between £0.80 to £1.50.
