Description
My brother has lived in Australia for 35 years and has asked me to start to sell his vinyl collection. When he bought the records Martin took excellent care of them. In many cases a record would be played once to check that it didn't jump before being stored in a plastic sleeve and carefully stored, never to be played again! Consequently, most of his records and sleeves are in Excellent/Near Mint Condition.
THE DAMNED "NEW ROSE" (STIFF BUY 6)
There are a few different variants of this record so you will need as much information as I can give you. It's got a solid centre, not a push out one. The matrix markings in the A Side run out read as follows.

Vinyl looks in Excellent/Near Mint Condition and I imagine it has hardly ever have been played. Visually it is virtually unblemished with only a few of the lightest surface scratches. The labels are perfect. I have just play tested it and it's very loud and clear. There is light crackling before the songs start and in the run out. I think this is normal.
Delga sleeve. The sleeve is Near Mint. The only thing that prevents it being absolutely Mint is a tiny mark on the front cover about 2cm up from the bottom edge. (Pictures 3&4, just below Sensible's thumb.)
NB! On the rear of the sleeve, the opening edge is made up of three straight edges - photo 8. Some versions have a single curved/swooped/arced edge/opening. I don't know the exact significance of any of this but it is surely worth pointing out?
(Check other items. I will be listing lots of punk/new wave/post-Punk. I will combine postage at cost. Any number of singles will be £3.23. All items will be securely packed in cardboard mailers with stiffeners. White paper sleeves will be used to prevent records sliding around in picture sleeves.)
