Description
From my personal Damned collection, this is an original 1977 copy of the elusive Stretcher Case Baby single, autographed by Dave Vanian. As a teen punk fan in the late 70s I was a member of Eric's club in Liverpool, where all the name punk bands played. It was very easy to meet the bands in Eric's and I would take my picture sleeves and get them autographed, by bands like The Damned, The Adverts, Magazine and SLF. That's how Dave Vanian signed this, at their Eric's gig on 14th April 1979.

- Has been cleaned in Spincare record cleaner with distilled water and static removed with a Zerostat gun.
- Deep factory gloss shine. Some very slight hairlines visible under inspection light.
- Flat, clean, with no tears or folds.
- Short split to right hand edge and a short split to bottom edge (see photos).
- A unique letter of provenance and authenticity.
- A photocopy print of the Eric's flyer for the gig where it was signed.
- The record in a new polyvinyl liner and the sleeve separate, both in a new vinyl outer liner.
