THE DEEP.  – Psychedelic Moods - A Mind Expanding Phenomena. (1966)

12" LP CAMEO PARKWAY P-7051 Mono ORIGINAL

An insane mixture of trippy, driving garage weirdness, tape samples and audio effects, the album features surreal lyrics and tracks such as "Turned On" "Trip 76" "Pink Ether" and the much compiled "Color Dreams". The DEEP was the brainchild of Rusty Evans (later of The Third Bardo and Freak Scene) and the album is certainly one of the essential '60's psych artefacts . Truly weird '60's US garage psychedlia with a dash of Acid Test madness.A derranged journey mixing surreal lyrics with strange sound effects and weird off the wall freaky garage psych music that has titles such as "Color Dreams", "Pink Ether", "Trip #76" etc. The warning on the back of the album says "Not Recommended for Children". An absolute classic, for children and adults!

Seen in Pokora's 1001 record collector dreams with three stars of rarity.
