I am selling most of my international collection of music memorabilia due to retirement. I collected for over 50 years in various countries where i lived worked or visited. Now i am finally ready to part of most of it.

My 78rpms are sold: Used as is....  (VJM grading system for 78rpms) 

As I am not an expert in grading 78 rpms, I had the grading done by a friend of mine who is an expert in rare vintage 78rpms and who sells regularly on Ebay and who uses the VJM grading system for 78rpms);

Condition: V, comes in a generic Motell SA 78 rpm generic sleeve as pictured, as is.

Sold Used as is, What you see is what you get, please judge for your self and check all photos for the condition.

Will be shipped in between carton in a new shipping box with peanuts.

Items can only be shipped via the Ebay system to the address of buyer on the Ebay label; if the item needs to be send to another address buyer needs to contact Ebay in advance and change the address before the auction ends. Please no requests to ship somewhere else after an auction is won.

Extended shipping times, since Covid, as I am in the high risk group, I ship once at the end of the week. The sooner one pays the sooner its ships, also lately the mail is slow. Once I deliver the package to the office to USPS its out of my hands, please follow tracking and give it some time, USPS IS SLOW THESE DAYS and some times it takes USPS a week or so longer than mentioned as delivery on the tracking. PS: Any questions about my auctions please communicate before one places a bid. Remember all items are sold as is, with no returns. I do not always know when/where the record was pressed or year of release, i describe the items as best as i can and add photos of the items. I grade the items visible and do not describe nor guarantee what i have no knowledge of or what is not is mentioned in the description. What you see is what you get, so please judge for your self.   Communicate all your questions please. No returns in principle as i am retiring from my lifelong collection. In case there would be an issue when the item is received by buyer please contact me immediately.

Unfortunately I experienced a few remorse buyers who did not pay until i had to report that to Ebay or once they had won a bid wanted to pay less than agreed in the listing or without asking before bidding, made some reasons up not stated in my description, so again please ask all relevant issue and concerns in advance or during the listing.

FOREIGN BUYERS PLEASE CHECK IN ADVANCE IN YOUR COUNTRY BEFORE YOU BID WHICH TAXES ARE APPLICABLE AND WILL BE CHARGED EXTRA TO YOU ON TOP OF THE ITEM PRICE INCLUDING SHIPPING COSTS!! Import fees ( including taxes & custom fees)  will apply in foreign country, to which the item is shipped.Sellers can't include these international costs in the item's purchase and shipping price. Foreign buyers are responsible for payment of any taxes in their country. Some countries and jurisdictions like f.e the EC require eBay to collect import tax, sales tax etc. from the buyer when they pay for their order. 

Please check with Ebay and your tax authorities in your country as taxes, import duties etc differ per country, to avoid unpleasant surprises afterwards.

Once the item is over the border its out of my hands, while it cannot be insured. If the postoffice in your country does not deliver i am not to be responsible, you can see from the tracking number  that i shipped it and follow it. Once shipped with tracking i am not responsible when your postoffice does not deliver it. If your postoffice  attempts delivery buyer needs to contact their local post office, if delivery fails or item is not picked up and the post office returns it back to me, i am willing to offer you a partial refund, meaning the purchase price back without Shipping/handling or once returned, i can ship it again to you but you need to send me in that case additional shipping and handling charges again first. Please follow your tracking number; I am not responsible if the addressee does not pick up the item once delivered and get sent back or get lost in the mail as i do not control your local postoffice. If there is damage because the customs opened the package careless or the wrong way i am not responsible for the damage. I ship via the Ebay system. Yes, international shipping from the USA to the rest of the world is high as US postage is a lot higher than anywhere else and i pack well and use official record mailers & packaging materials.  I am not accepting returns.

The VJM Record Grading System for 78rpms:

N (78)

As new and unplayed (there are virtually no 78s that can categorically be claimed to be unplayed).

N- (78)

Nearly Mint, but has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage.

E+ (78)

Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets.

E (78)

Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches. 

E- (78)

Still shiny but without the lustre of a new record, few light scratches. LP: Some wear, scratches and scuffs, but no skipped or repeat grooves.

V++ In between E- & V+

V+ (78)

V+ is an average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.

V (78)

Moderate, wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.

V- (78)

Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.

G+ (78)

Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Heavy scratches.

G (78)

Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level is still higher than surface noise.

G- (78)

Music still prominent, but wear and scratch damage extensive.

F (78)

Most of music remains audible over surface noise, but listening now uncomfortable.

P(78) unplayable..bad ( just suitable for framing).
