The Diamond Five : "ERMI MUSICAL"Super rare Dutch Jazz 45 with picture cover! In 1963 The Diamond Five played for the Dutch "ERMI"icecream compagny quizz radio shows. This 45 was a souvenir record issued by the ERMI icecream compagny and was never sold in stories The Diamond Five was a famous hard bop band from the Netherlands. Founded by Cees Slinger in 1957 as the resident band of jazz club Sheherazade in Amsterdam. Two songs on this record: side 1: Royal dream - improvisations on the ERMI motive (this appears to be the tune of the radio programm) Side 2: Alexander ragtime band. Both are live recordings probably from the radio shows!  Holland vinyl 7" from 1963 The label is unusual as well: "N + D Tevera produktie"(106890F) Mussicans: Cees Smal (trompet) Harry Verbeke (Tenorsax) Cees Slinger (piano)Jacques Schols (bass) and John Engels Jr., (drums) The Diamond Five are pictured on the front of the picture cover and on the back. On the back they are printed autographs under the photo's. Record and sleeve are in an excellent condition Shipping & handling the cheapest way!
