THE DIMMED THE DAMNED History of the World Flexi 7” SS01
Free flexidisc with The Damned fanzine "Sugar And Spite" (2nd anniverary issue March 1988).
Title "History Of The World Part One" on sleeve, "The History Of The World Part 1 'Psychedelic Mix'" on label.
Band disguised as THE DIMMED on sleeve and label, but full credits are given to the band members on the back sleeve.
Back sleeve states: "This flexi-disc was given away with Issue 5 of 'Sugar & Spite' and is a limited edition of 1000 copies"
Editor David Martin stated in the fanzine:
"As I'm sure you've noticed, there is a flexi-disc with this issue, featuring that wonderful band The Dimmed. It cost me a bloody fortune to get the flexi done, so whether or not there'll be any more really depends on whether I lose money or not. Anyway, I'm really pleased with it. As with all flexi's, there's often a certain amount of surface noise, so if your copy is like this, then it can't be helped."I'll happily combine UK postage if required.
