Why must you pay a HANDLING FEE??  

STARTING FROM OCTOBER 2008, eBay has started a new policy which now makes the maximum SHIPPING COST $4.00 Postage for US DOMESTIC DELIVERY.  At first we thought that surely this new US DOMESTIC SHIPPING RATE POLICY would not apply to INTERNATIONAL SELLERS like us who use this USA eBay site, but who do not sell & Ship Domestically from within' the USA, however, after contacting eBay about this we were informed this new Domestic Shipping Policy applies to everyone using this USA eBay site, including International Sellers.

THIS NEW POLICY WAS CONFUSING TO US, AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SHIP 1 LP INTERNATIONALLY FOR ONLY $4.00 SHIPPING COST. The average cost to ship 1 LP WORLDWIDE is $10.00 which was previously our WORLDWIDE SHIPPING COST.

So we asked eBay what we can do about this problem, and how we can keep our WORLDWIDE SHIPPING COST at $10.00 as it was before.  First, eBay advised us to add $6.00 to the starting price of the item in our auction, however, many of our customers enjoy our low starting prices, so we wanted to keep our starting prices the same.  Next eBay advised us to add a $6.00 HANDLING FEE so that our SHIPPING COST will remain the same as before. 

We decided this second suggestion was our best option and we took eBays advice, so now if you buy 1 LP it will be $4.00 SHIPPING COST + $6.00 HANDLING FEE = $10.00 for 1 LP Shipped to you from JAPAN.

We are sincerely sorry for any confusion and inconvenience, but please understand this is the only way International Sellers like us can work within' eBays new USA Domestic Shipping Rate Policy. Please contact us if you have any questions.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING & COOPERATION ON THIS MATTER.

All LPs are packaged with care, removed from Jackets to prevent seam splitting, wrapped in protective plastic bubble wrap, shipped inside a strong cardboard LP box sealed tightly with shipping tape and labeled "FRAGILE".  We do as much as we can to ensure your LP arrives to you safely, but we can not guarantee your LP will not be damaged during shipping, once it is shipped we have no control over its fate.

ITEM DESCRIPTIONS:

We describe all our LPs as accurately, and as honestly as we can.  We give a brief description of the basic information we feel most buyers want to know.  Please remember that our descriptions are our opinions, which may differ from yours.  Noticeable LP wear and/or excessive damage that "stands out" such as deep VINYL scratches or scuffs, and JACKET ring wear, split seams, heavy flaking spine/seams, badly creased corners, and ect.. will be reported in our listing.  If you want more details then what is listed, please contact us by sending a message to our eBay Account and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have. 

NOTE:  We inspect LPs visually under bright light, we do not have time to listen to each LP in its entirety, if after visual inspection we see any marks or scratches that may affect the playing of the LP, we then do a sound check by playing the LP and list the results.

GRADE SYSTEM:

* NEAR MINT:  Clean and well taken care of. Any signs of wear are very minimal.

* EXCELLENT:  Clean and well taken care of. Shows some very minor signs of wear.

* VERY GOOD:  Some noticeable wear but still in better than average condition.

* GOOD:  A significant amount of wear. Mostly for serious collectors only.

NOTE:  WE SELL USED LPs, so as a precautionary measure to avoid any unrealistic Buyer expectations we do not include the grade "MINT" in our Grade System.  This is because individual opinions vary widely as to what qualifies as a "MINT" used LP. We feel that our LPs with the Grade NEAR MINT would be considered MINT by most vinyl collectors/dealers. We have full confidence that the majority of our LPs are among the best quality available anywhere in the world. Most our LPs are in NEAR MINT or EXCELLENT condition. However, let us be perfectly clear to avoid any confusion and/or misunderstandings: NEAR MINT IS NOT NEW, PERFECT or FLAWLESS.

NOTE:  We do not grade 7" SINGLES when sold together with a 12" LP. 

DELIVERY TIME: 

OUR AVERAGE DELIVERY/SHIPPING TIME IS 4 WEEKS.

However, depending upon circumstances Delivery/Shipping may sometimes take as long as 6 WEEKS. 

PLEASE DO NOT BID ON OUR AUCTIONS IF YOU CAN NOT WAIT THIS LONG FOR DELIVERY.

PLEASE FIRST WAIT 6 WEEKS BEFORE YOU CONTACT US TO INFORM US THAT YOUR LP HAS NOT ARRIVED YET.  UNTIL 6 WEEKS HAS PASSED WE CAN NOT KNOW FOR SURE IF THERE HAS BEEN ANY SHIPPING PROBLEM.

Q:  WHAT IS AN "OBI" ?

A:  An "OBI" is a unique to Japan packaging feature, the Japanese word "OBI" means "BELT" in English, it is a removable rectangular shaped long thin strip of paper, that is usually placed on the left side of the LP, it contains information written in Japanese about the Artist/Band and Album. Sometimes the OBI is designed to match the photo or artwork on the LP cover, this is called a MATCHING OBI.  Often when buying a used LP in Japan the OBI is not still on the LP, as many Japanese people throw the OBI away after buying the LP, if the OBI is still on the LP it increases its value to Fans, Dealers, and/or Collectors. 

NOTE: IF OUR LP IS NOT LISTED WITH AN OBI THEN IS DOES NOT COME WITH ONE.
