Texas soul indie


I can't really give you any solid info about this soul group but I’ve heard that they might have been from Waco, Texas. This single, was recorded up in Dallas with Dale Hawkins and the group can be seen appearing on the wonderful soul TV show ‘The Beat’ in 1966. Tracks here are "The Reason Why" and "And That Reminds Me." It's a great little record in the style of the Supremes.

The group got a big break in March of 1966, when this local single was released nationally on Loma Records.

CONDITION: NEAR MINT – unsold stock from record store back room.
