Description
Up for auction is the by far rarest German vinyl pressing of THE DOORS' 'Absolutely Live' double-album from 1970 on ELEKTRA (cat. no. EKS-9002). This legendary double-live album still came on the famous golden ELEKTRA labels in Germany! It's very hard to find even in Germany & most of the time you will only get it in trashed condition. The copy I'm offering today is in EXCELLENT++ condition throughout!
Both vinyl RECORDS are in a very, very good condition, shiny & still mirror-like! There are absolutely NO scratches or other blemishes to report of! Side 2 only displays one mark on track 2, which is not feelable, neither is it audible! All four sides of this classic DOORS album have EXCELLENT+ playback, even in the quietest parts such as "When The Music's Over" or "The Celebration Of The Lizard" etc. there's no crackling or other nasty background noises! I will grade both records as EXCELLENT+ condition!
The laminated & rather thin fold-out COVER of 'Absolutely Live' bears the correct catalogue number 'EKS-9002'. The COVER shows NO tears, NO creasing, NO unwanted writing, NO seam splits, NO price-sticker marks. Due to the thinness of the paper used the German version of 'Absolutely Live' was always prone to ring-wear. This copy here only displays slightest signs of ring-wear to the front- and backpanel – nothing serious though! I will grade the COVER as EXCELLENT+.
All in all an amazing copy of one of the rarest European DOORS albums with the classic & most sought-after golden ELEKTRA labels! Satisfaction guaranteed!

The album will be mailed to the lucky winner in a stiff cardboard record box with extra cardboard stiffeners for best possible protection during transport! The experience and fun of buying records on eBay is ruined if you discover that – once the album arrives – they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! MINT: The Record Itself Is In Brand New Condition With No Surface Marks Or Deterioration In Sound Quality. The Cover And Any Extra Items Such As The Lyric Sheet, Booklet Or Poster Are In Perfect Condition. Records Advertised, As Sealed Or Unplayed Should Be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The Record Shows Some Signs Of Having Been Played, But There Is Very Little Lessening In Sound Quality. The Cover And Packaging Might Have Slight Wear And / Or Creasing.
VERY GOOD: The Record Has Obviously Been Played Many Times, But Displays No Major Deterioration In Sound Quality, Despite Noticeable Surface Marks And The Occasional Light Scratch. Normal Wear And Tear On The Cover Or Extra Items, Without Any Major Defects, Is Acceptable.
