Description
This is a "limited edition" Miw Records 19 double album by the Doors titled The Beautiful Die Young....The Rest Of Us Just Linger On from 1984 in the United Kingdom. The first LP is an early release of the complete show from the Toronto Pop Festival, September 13, 1969 and the second LP contains the entire show in Stockholm, September 20, 1968 plus "The End" from the second show. Songs on these albums are "When The Music's Over" (2 X), "Break On Thru", "Backdoor Man (Roadhouse Blues)", "Crystal Ship", "The Celebration Of the Lizard", "Light My Fire" (2X), "The End" (2X), "Five To One", "Love Street", "Love Me Two Times", "Lizard Poem (Once I Had A Little Dream)" and "Unknown Soldier". The labels have a portrait of Jim Morrison as you can see. The records have slight scuffs and the only problem is that in the song The End on side 2 it gets stuck in one spot and plays over and over. Will a good cleaning fix this ? I don't have any idea. "This album was made by fans for fans in a strictly limited edition" and some parts of the songs are low in sound. The glossy cover is thinner than US albums and has some wear with some creases. The whole top seam has become unglued, not split though.
