EIGHTH ALBUM from this incredibly influential band showcasing but this time without Jim Morrison who had perished in Paris. A little more experimentation than their earlier records, the band making a play for chart action via the track 'Mosquito'. Elsewhere the accent is on more esoteric composition with Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek taking on lead vocal duty. Tough to find as an original UK copy as it, not unexpectedly, sold poorly. Nice copy. 

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Lovely clean condition. A few spindle marks and a few extremely light signs of use. Grades as a very nice MINT-!

Cover: Practically no signs of any use. Issued in a beautifully designed unipack gatefold cover - retains full printers bloom. Sharp corners (one microscopic rub), no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff and square. Impossible to find like this after 43 years. Grades as shop fresh MINT-!
