The Doors  "LA Woman" VG++ Condition 1971 1st press LP (Elektra EKS - 75011).Butterfly label, Great copy, Test played and SOUNDS FANTASTIC! (die-cut) Embossed jacket w/ round corners. Record is fantastic with just a few light marks. I can't even see "trail" marks by the spindle hole.This one is graded  VG++ / VG++ The cover looks great too. Unlike most of these covers,. A super looking cover slight ring and edge wear. Spine nice and readable. Crucifix inner is included.  (Matrix A-2 and B) 

I played this album before listing to best determine the condition of the album. As you will see from my buyers, I'm mostly selling top quality vinyl. Many of the records I am putting up for sale my own. All the albums I put up for sale are of very good, excellent or near prime condition.  I will not list an album that is beat up and worn.

2-color burgundy & black varnish-print sleeve, with radius corners and embossed "Doors" text . The front has a cut-out window with clear acetate, on which the band photo is printed black half-tone. The disc is contained in a yellow radius corner liner, which provides a yellow background to the cover image when inserted into the sleeve. The back of the liner has a black-print 'crucifix' image.

1. This issue has the 'Columbus Circle' address on Sleeve back and Labels.
2. This issue does not have the Warner Bros 'W' imprint on the 'butterfly' labels.

We use the industry standard Goldmine Grading Scale  Cover/Sleeve Grading applies to OUTER SLEEVE ONLY. If the original Inner sleeve is included it will be shown in the photos. Please ask any additional questions regarding inner sleeve or album condition BEFORE purchase! THE SCALE IS AS FOLLOWS:

10: MINT (M), Pristine, Looks as if it just came off the manufacturing line, also listed as New, Mint Sealed/Unopened

9: NEAR MINT (NM), Looks as if it just came from a store and was opened for the first time, maybe played a few times if ever, no evidence of play or wear whatsoever

8: EXCELLENT (EX), also listed as VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS (VG++), LP may have a faint surface mark or two barring it from being truly Near Mint, but sound quality will not be affected at all, cover sleeve is just short of Near Mint, often used for cover sleeves in Shrink, or with no ring-wear or staining or easily visible flaws whatsoever, seams and spine fully intact

7: VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+), Shows slight signs of wear, light scuffs or scratches may be present but they do not affect playback other than faint surface noise heard sporadically in between tracks, or the occasional soft click from a surface mark here or there, cover sleeve is considered still frame-able” yet when observed closely will show to have a flaw or small flaws, very minor ring wear if any, seams and spine intact but not pristine

6: VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD PLUS (VG/VG+), more obvious signs of wear and handling, LP has surface noise that is noticeable in some spots but perhaps is quiet and clean in other spots, clicks and pops will be heard, but will not significantly disrupt the music, cover sleeves have more obvious ring wear or marks/staining, seams may have cracking, minor seam splitting or some missing spine text but are still fairly well intact. Writing may be present on label.

5: VERY GOOD (VG), significant and obvious wear and handling including surface noise throughout, audible scratches which cause clicks and pops and crackle but no skips or repeated grooves, cover sleeve may have significant ring wear and/or staining, seam splits may be evident, label or sleeve may have writing, names, stickers etc.

4: VERY GOOD MINUS (VG-), in our shop typically only going to be seen on a cover sleeve for a significantly rare album that is in extremely bad shape, lots of splitting etc, yet is still worth owning due to its rarity. We will likely never offer albums with this rating.
