ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Pressing Features:
1. This issue has the Elektra 'Columbus Circle' address on sleeve back and labels.
2. This issue does not have the Warner Bros 'W' imprint on the 'butterfly' labels.
3. This issue is a 'Terra Haute' pressing (CTH etched in runouts).
2-color burgundy & black varnish-print sleeve, with radius corners and embossed "Doors" text . The front has a die-cut window with clear acetate, on which the band photo is printed black half-tone. The record is housed in a yellow radius corner liner, which provides a yellow background to the cover image when inserted into the sleeve. The back of the liner has a black-print 'crucifix' image.
RELEASE NOTES:
6th studio album released April 19, 1971.
The US and UK releases were initially issued in round corner sleeves with embossed text. Front sleeve cover has a die cut round corner window matching the sleeve. The window has clear acetate with the band photo is printed black half-tone. Later issue sleeves or cover images simply emulate this effect, with no die-cuts and have normal square corners.

Very clean Elektra Dark Butterfly Labels with NO spindle marks or blemishes.
Record Grading: (EX)
Both record surfaces are very clean and bright with no visible marks. Plays with soft crackle during intro on first track but plays close to NM without annoying pops or tics...plays crisp and loud with great sound quality.
Sleeve Grading: (VG+)
Embossed DOORS text on burgundy cover with radius corners and die cut center comes with original clear acetate and has NO cut-outs, split seams, edge, corner or spine wear but does have a couple crease lines along the top edge and near middle opening, faint ring wear and some top edge color rub. The original clear acetate is in NM condition and fully intact to the front cover.
