Pressing Features:
1. This issue has the Elektra 'Columbus Circle' address on sleeve back and labels. 
2. This issue does NOT have Warner Bros 'W' imprint on 'dark butterfly' labels. 
3. This issue is a 'Santa Maria' pressing (CSM etched in runouts).

Sleeve has 2-color burgundy & black varnish-print covers, with radius corners and embossed "Doors" text . The front has a die-cut window with clear acetate, on which the band photo is printed black half-tone. The record is housed in a yellow radius corner liner, which provides a yellow background to the cover image when inserted into the sleeve. The back of the liner has a black-print 'crucifix' image. 

RELEASE NOTES:
6th studio album released April 19, 1971. 
The US and UK releases were initially issued in round corner sleeves with embossed text. Front sleeve cover has a die cut round corner window matching the sleeve. The window has clear acetate with the band photo is printed black half-tone. Later issue sleeves or cover images simply emulate this effect, with no die-cuts and have normal square corners.

Very clean Elektra Dark Butterfly Labels with NO spindle marks or blemishes. 
       
Record Grading:     (VG/VG+) 
Both record surfaces are very clean and bright with light signs of surface wear; Side A has mostly wispy hairline marks, some scuffing on S1/T1 and a few superficial stylus marks; Side B has a cleaner surface with less surface marks.  Both sides play mostly VG+.  Plays crisp and loud with little to no background noise and occassional soft pop/tic.

Sleeve Grading:      (VG/VG+) 
Embossed DOORS  text on burgundy cover with radius corners and die cut center comes with original clear acetate and has NO cut-outs, split seams or ring wear; has some light wear on edges and small crease lines along spine with some fading; Ink written circled letter by Doors on front cover. The original clear acetate is in good condition and fully intact to the front cover.
