Sleeve has 2-color burgundy & black varnish-print covers, with radius corners and embossed "Doors" text . The front has a die-cut window with clear acetate, on which the band photo is printed black half-tone. The record is housed in a yellow radius corner liner, which provides a yellow background to the cover image when inserted into the sleeve. The back of the liner has a black-print 'crucifix' image. 

RELEASE NOTES:
6th studio album released April 19, 1971. 

The US and UK releases were initially issued in round corner sleeves with embossed text. Front sleeve cover has die cut round corner window matching the sleeve. The window has clear acetate with the band photo is printed black half-tone. Later issue sleeves or cover images simply emulate this effect, with no die-cuts and have normal square corners.

Very clean Elektra Dark Butterfly Labels with NO spindle marks or blemishes. 
       
Record Grading:     (VG/VG+) 
Record surfaces are clean and bright with light surface wear mostly sleeve / cover scuffing and a few superficial stylus marks.  Both sides play through with some level of light crackle noise floor more audible during quiet passages or track transitions.  Plays crisp and loud with no jumps, skips or repeats.

Sleeve Grading:      (VG/VG+) 
Embossed DOORS  text on burgundy fully intact cover with radius corners and die cut center comes with original clear acetate and has light corner, edge and ring wear; crease lines along bottom and top edges on front cover only; some sticker residue on front cover.  The original clear acetate is in excellent condition and fully intact to the front cover.  Spine is partially legible with some edge wear from record housing.
