Description
Here's a 1970 OG US PRESSING of THE DOORS LP - MORRISON HOTEL on the ELEKTRA LABEL CAT#EKS75007. This was The Doors 5th studio LP, and it's a killer. It's a record I play more than their others, because there's less hits. With Jim having numerous problems, and on a seemingly downward spiral, they would only produce one last studio LP after this one. Every Doors LP is essential in any music library.
This copy is fantastic. It's both ORIGINAL 1970 PRESS on the RED BIG E LABEL from the ALLENTOWN PRESSING PLANT. Vinyl is NM and Cover is VG++. The inner is also NEAR MINT, but someone along the way switched the original inner with a later Elektra inner... The cover is beautiful, but has a bit of fraying on the top seams towards the spine side. There are a couple handling marks along the corner of the spine and the front cover. The inside gatefold, back and front covers are in beautiful NM shape other than the blemishes described. The vinyl plays beautifully with no issues at all. Vinyl looks and sounds NEAR MINT.
Big "E" red label variant pressed by Allentown Record Co. Inc.
STEREO on both sides of the spindle hole in a broad font.
