LIGHT MY FIRE
Can you imagine what it must have been like to be a DJ when this new single rolled into the station in the Spring of 1967 ? I’ve been there when that groundbreaking new platter arrived and it is an electric thing, people come out of doorways asking ‘What the HELL was that?!?”
I can only imagine when the new Doors single “Light My Fire” arrived it was a similar experience. While this record seems to have gotten some airplay, it’s still has clean labels with no writing and relatively minor wear. On the flip is the trippy tune “The Crystal Ship.”
Worth noting, this is a VINYL pressing, not the typical styrene that Elektra pressed on at the time.
