Description

Extremely rare 1967 white label DJ copy of The Doors' 45 "People Are Strange" b/w "Unhappy Girl Elektra EK-45621 in original picture sleeve.

I purchased this record in 1967 and it is from my personal collection.

The record is graded "EX+"; it is a white label DJ copy; "DJ" is also etched in the deadwax (see photos).

The picture sleeve is in "EX+" condition with no seam splits; the back cover shows some mile ringwear and my catalog number is written on the top corner of the front cover (see photos).

Vinyl grading is based on the following criteria:

“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.

“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed  record.

“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.

“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.

“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.

“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.

“VG” significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise, still plays great.
