Description
Up for your consideration is a RARE, ORIGINAL, FIRST copy of "The DOORS" by THE DOORS which was pressed in 1967 on the BROWN ELEKTRA LABEL. This rare MONO PRESSING is still in it's original SHRINK WRAP and has the original PRICE STICKER still affixed on the front cover. The shiny VG+ vinyl has hairline scuffs and lines on both sides when scrutinized under a bright light. It's labels exhibit very little or no wear around the spindle hole with a few white printer spots present against the brown background. It's EX+ cover shows wear on it's corners with some ring wear present on the shrink wrap and NOT THE COVER. There is also a small piece of shrink wrap missing on the lower left corner/side on the back cover. (see pictures) If the corners were nicer, I would grade the cover as NM-. Mono pressings are very hard to find especially in shrink making this either a nice upgrade or a much sought after aquisition for most collectors!
