Description

Gold label stereo pressing. Ray Haggertys initals in the deadwax on both sides, sublimely mastered. It is truly a beautiful copy, the cleanest gold label Doors record I've seen. The cover is in beautiful looking shrink with a period accurate price tag. A torn portion of the shrink is missing on the back cover, as pictured. The disc looks like it has not seen a turntable. I played it once, on a decent turntable, and it plays like a dream. Has some light surface noise between tracks, as every one of these gold label Elektra records seem to have, but this one isn't nearly as affected by this issue as other copies I've heard. Even the intro to 'The End', which is almost always noisy on these, plays surprisingly clean. You will very hard pressed to find a better one than this.
