Introduced to the lable by Arthur Lee of LOVE, The DOORS soon surpassed the excellent stablemates in popularity and sales. Both bands were led by enigmatic charismatic characters, Jim Morrison perhaps being the more controversial and overtly sexual onstage.
This albut is of course a classic, the sounds
of incendiary mind blowing amped guitar and keboard dominated music!!
Here's the ORIGINAL UK ELEKTRA Records debut release pressed by Polydor.
CONDITION;
VINYL visually VG and plays EXCELLENT
A nice sheen and a clean copy, the music projects from the vinyl with vivid clarity.
A serious looking scuff is clearly showing across side 1, and a smaller one on side 2 - both are superficial and there's no deterioration in the sound.....so this lp plays marvelously, with brilliant sound projection from these grooves.
LABLES are EXCELLENT+, no pen or stickers, practically as newly pressed.
The FULLY LAMINATED cover has a short tear at the opening edge, and some separation to the laminate on the rear.
Not a 'top copy' visually then, but certainly playing super well.
