Up for sale is one(1) THE DOORS - Soft Parade LP from 1969 on the Elektra Records (# EKS-75005). There is No Barcode.
This is the very rare WHITE LABEL PROMO.I recently played this LP and it STILL SOUNDS GREAT, especially cranked up!
The vinyl is in good condition, but has some visual surface marks that will cause surface noise and pops or clicks along the way typical with a Good grading. Even with a GOOD grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts.
PLAY TESTED! Plays all the way through without skipping, but you WILL hear surface noise.
The White Labels are in good condition except for the letter "X" is written in black permanent marker on both sides.
The custom inner sleeve is in Good condition but has small to medium sized split seams on all 3 sides. Also has some ring wear, small tears and crumples all of which are typical with age. The LP is now being housed in a plain white inner sleeve.
The gatefold cover is in Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to dings, scrapes, ring wear, fade spots, and creases all of which are typical. The record side of the gatefold has a partial split on the top seam stemming from the side opening (this is somewhat typical for these sturdy cardboard covers from this era). There are no split seams on the spine or the bottom seam.
This cover typically does not age well, but this one is in decent shape.
