Description
This is truly a gorgeous original copy of the Doors' Strange Days LP on Elektra EKS-74014. Terre Haute pressing, with CTH stampers. Original gold labels and pre-Gold Record cover. RARE misprinted label! Side one has the Waiting for the Sun Label, and side two is the proper Strange Days label... never seen another like this. According to the stampers this is a "first" pressing but it must be a little later, from the time when Waiting for the Sun was being released. Very odd... Anyhow this copy is in such great condition I hate to sell it. It looks barely touched and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. I have rarely had the pleasure to hear this masterpiece on such a perfect copy. Really this thing sounds just stunning. And the cover is just beautiful as well, with barely any of the ringwear most original copies have. Not the slightest ringwear and the corners and edges are remarkably crisp and the whole thing just looks gorgeous. Just a touch of very light cornerwear at the top left, barely at all. I honestly can't even believe how great this copy is. A top, top original copy, pretty hard to beat.
