Description

Absolutely gorgeous copy of the original 1967 first pressing of the Doors’ Strange Days LP on Elektra stereo EKS-74014. This is the rare original Monarch pressing with MON-1 in the runoffs. Original gold (I don’t know why people call it tan) labels and Elektra inner sleeve. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays completely flawlessly and just beautifully. A couple of the slightest sleeve scuffs, maybe, but barely if at all. The cover has some edge, corner and ring wear but is nicely intact and quite beautiful. The edges are whitening in spots and the corners are rubbed, and you can see the slight ring, but really the cover art is quite clear and there are no tears or creases or anything like that. Really a beautiful original copy overall, with a truly beautiful disc. Hard to beat.
