Description
Up for auction is the Doors 4th lp "The Soft Parade". This is the ultra-rare 1969 U.S. 1st pressing with the brown labels. This brown label pressing was released just as Elektra was switching over to the red labels so very few were made with these labels. Very tough to find and very rarely come up for auction, especially in this condition!
Gatefold cover is NM in factory shrink! Has factory breathe holes on both sides, shrink is nice and tight with no tears, has rare song hype sticker on front and has only very minor corner tip wear. Super nice!
Vinyl is VG+ visual with lots of gloss and some light surface marks that can be seen under bright light. The vinyl plays NM- with no skips and very minimal background noise, it sounds amazing! Labels are NM with no spindle marks. Custom inner sleeve is VG with small splits in the middle of all 3 sides and a small piece of clear tape on bottom seam. It will be very hard to improve on this package!
I package all records with the vinyl outside of the cover to prevent seam damage during shipment. I use quality record mailers, bubblewrap, and excellent packaging tape.
