THREE Great LP’s
This auction is for THREE fantastic albums by the Doors, one of the best Psych/Blues/Rock bands of the late 60’s – early 70’s. The albums in the collection are:
- L.A. Woman - an Australian Elektra ‘butterfly’ label pressing of this 1971 LP the last to feature Jim Morrison but one of their best and in fact one of the classic albums of the 70’s. The matrix numbers are: Runout A (Stamped) - A MX164191-C EKS75011-1 & Runout B (Stamped) - Å MX164192V-F EKS75011-2. The record is in excellent condition. There is very minor ring wear to the back cover. This will not disappoint the collector. TRACKS - Side ONE: The Changling, Love Her Madly, Been Down So Long, Cars Hiss By My Window, LA Woman Side TWO: L’America, Hyacinth House, Crawling King Snake, The WASP (Texas Radio And The Big Beat), Riders On The Storm.
- 13 – an Australian Elektra ‘butterfly’ label pressing. The matrix numbers are: Runout A (Stamped) - A MX163543 EKS74079-1 & Runout B (Stamped) - A MX163544 EKS74079-2. The record is in excellent condition. There is a very minor mark underneath the 13 on the front cover. This will not disappoint the collector. TRACKS - Side ONE: Light My Fire, People Are Strange, Back Door Man, Moonlight Drive, The Crystal Ship, Roadhouse Blues Side TWO: Touch Me, Love Me Two Times, You're Lost Little Girl, Hello, I Love You, Land Ho!, Wild Child, The Unknown Soldier
- The Best of The Doors – a fantastic double LP collection of all the best Doors songs, released in 1985. This LP is in fantastic condition. There is very minor ring wear on the front cover & a slight stain on the back. The vinyl looks unplayed.
I will be listing a number of records over the next month. I no longer have a player but will do my best to give an accurate visual grading. Local pick up is welcome (from Highett, Melbourne) but I am also happy to post – records will be well wrapped in protective cardboard. I have sold quite a few records already and had no issues with them not arriving safely. OVERSEAS bidders are welcome but please check postage – it will be more expensive than local postage. If you are in US or Canada please note your government charges and extra postage fee - $AU9 – this will be paid by the winning bidder.
