THE DOORS  -  "THE DOORS" / Self Titled  -  Rare Original 1st Pressing MONO RECORD LP made in the United States in 1967 by ELEKTRA (EKL-4007).   This is an original early 1967 pressing with the GOLD color label on the record + the original MONO record cover that states 'mono' with the correct catalog number and not a sticker placed over the stereo version.

The Condition of the Record is strong VG+ / VG++ / clean & glossy with no wear and several light surface scratches on each side that do not affect play.  This Record has been cleaned on a VPI machine and plays strong VG++ / close to Near Mint with full fidelity (no wear at all) and a few very light ticks in spots - plays beautifully, super strong and also a different & improved mix over the stereo version.   The labels show little wear with a small tear around the center hole on one side + a fe very light spindle marks. 
The Condition of the Cover is strong VG to VG+ with light wear + a few small light creases around the edges / at the corners, a few heavier creases, light rounding at the corners & a small stain at the bottom left corner.
