Great (and seldom seen) album by the Nigerian rock group The Doves, featuring the scorching Afro-rock instrumental "Echoeing Wind"... This is one that does not turn up much at all, so it's worth it to get it now while it's hot!
CONDITION (JACKET/VINYL): G/VG-
Jacket is structural intact with general wear around the edges and light ringwear and dirt. Writing in pen and marker on the front and back (see photos). Record labels have scratches. Vinyl is shiny with a few light marks. There is a patch of heat damage on the edge of side B that causes a repetitive hiss sound for about a minute, though the hiss is largely drowned out by the music within seconds, though it is followed by a small jump. (Listen to sound clip 2 to hear for yourself)
I don't know if it's a pressing issue, a cleaning issue or just my needle, but there is another jump at the end of sound clip 3 even though there are no marks evident on that track. Anyway, it seems that "Echoeing Wind" is the track most people are looking for on this album and it plays wonderfully from beginning to end (included in its entirety on sound clip 1!)
