Description
THE DRIVE – Jerkin’ / Push ‘n’ Shove *ORIG NRG Records 45* RE 46 (UK, Stereo, 1977)
PLEASE SEE MY OTHER ORIGINAL UK PUNK 45s (All from 1976-1979)
Classic first gen punk 45 and very rare too on the tiny NRG label. Another nice example from the current crop of original punk 45s I’m selling.
The sleeve is the original plain white one, as issued. A little age toning and soft storage creases but no rips or writing.
The labels are fine – couple of light spindle trails but no writing or residue. Some light storage rubs but nice set of these vintage labels.
The vinyl is stone mint on one side. On the other there is some ‘shading’ (absolutely no detriment to the sound), so visually one side M-(Mint Minus), the other EX (Excellent). NO scratches, hairlines or embedded dirt. HAS BEEN LISTENED TO and plays terrific – so expect NO snap, crackle or pop, no ticks or clicks, quiet run-ins and no distortion, groove wear or loss of clarity. Tremendous listen.
One of only 3 records on this short-lived UK independent label. Great copy. Don’t miss.
No reserve.
