BOTH SIDES WHICH SHOWS THIS VINYL AND
INNER SLEEVE HAVE BEEN INSIDE THE FAMOUS
ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS SANDPAPER COVER
BEFORE IT WAS REPLACED WITH THE
SECOND PRESS BLACK TEXTURED COVER


CONDITION (using RRPG grading)

VINYL: EXCELLENT+
Both sides of this very rare and collectable Durutti Column vinyl have a very nice, black sheen.
Visually, both sides are also EXCELLENT+ and the record sits very nicely on the spindle.
There are a few very light paper sleeve "removal" marks on each side - most of which can only be seen when viewed at an angle and under a strong halogen lamp.
Plus a couple of other very light and faint hairline marks on each side - most of which are visual only and do not affect playback.
Both sides of vinyl have just a few light and rare static "pops" - which are only present very occasionally.
This really is a fantastic copy with TOP AUDIO and the overall playback and sonic quality throughout is STUNNING.
This early UK FIRST PRESS has a loud, strong and well-defined audio reproduction - much stronger and with more clarity than all other pressings I have heard.
Audio playback ranges from 7-8/10 throughout.
Record sits flat and plays through with no sticks, skips or jumps.

SLEEVE: VERY GOOD++
UK second press black textured card sleeve has some light but acceptable wear throughout.
One very small pull in the delicate textured card material on the front cover and some light pink-coloured paint splashes along the bottom edge.
Two very small tears down the opening edge on the back cover and light signs of ringwear on both sides.
A nice example - very acceptable.
No writing, folds, splits or stickers.

SPINE: VERY GOOD++
Text is almost fully readable. Light rubbing and storage wear along the spine.

No folds, splits or snags.

LABELS: EXCELLENT++
Just a few very light spindle marks on each label - most of which are only visible when held at an angle, in bright light or under a strong halogen lamp.
This record still sits nicely to the spindle.
No writing, tears or stickers - which makes it very acceptable and HIGHLY COLLECTABLE.

OTHER: Plain paper inner sleeve is EXCELLENT with sandpaper discolouring marks on both sides.
