1974 - 2 FIRST PRESS LPs - GLENN FREY NM!
This auction includes 2 of my personal favorite classic rock band's hard-to-find LPs :
Both First Press Releases in Near Mint Condition:
Eagles "Their Greatest Hits" - 7E-1052 - 1976 - by Elektra / Asylum USA and
Eagles "On the Border" - 7E - 1004 - 1974 - by Elektra / Asylum USA - Scarce Textured Cover!

CONDITION: Both LPs are in Near Mint Condition
Vinyl looks new as if never or rarely played - no scratches or wear - labels look great with no markings, tears or damage - sleeves are clean on both with a few light creases - no tears or splits
Covers with original cellophane on covers and original price tags on the cellophane - one side of cellophane is opened on both - very light edge wear to the one side where cellophane was opened on both. "On the Border" has the scarce textured cover - some light yellowing on edge of open side. The poster insert that was originally included with the On The Border album is missing. Cellophane also has a 1 1/2" tear on the back.
These hard to find LPs have been carefully stored inside for 42 years! An excellent addition to any vintage record collection that will only increase in value. Don't miss out on these! No reserve!

FYI: Their Greatest Hits (from 1971–1975) is the first compilation album by the Eagles, released in 1976. The album contains a selection of songs from the Eagles' first four albums released in the period from the Eagles' formation in 1971 up to 1975. It was the best-selling album of the 20th century in the United States, and it stayed the best-selling album in the U.S. for some years until it was surpassed by Michael Jackson's Thriller after the artist's death in 2009. It is the second highest-certified album by the Recording Industry Association of America at 29× Platinum, behind Thriller. In 2017, it was selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or artistically significant." [Wikipedia]
On the Border is the third studio album by American rock group the Eagles, released in 1974. Apart from two songs produced by Glyn Johns, it was produced by Bill Szymczyk because the group wanted a more rock?oriented sound instead of the country-rock feel of the first two albums.
