THE ECHO MEN - My Maria - vinyl 45 rpm - SOMA Record 1197 Echomen
Here is the rare 1962 original U.S. vinyl 45 rpm record of “MY MARIA"/"YOU BROKE MY HEART" by THE ECHO MEN. It is on the SOMA LABEL from Minneapolis, Minnesota, SOMA 1197. This is the black label version. This 45 is in near mint- condition, with just a few light surface scratches. The vinyl is pristine and awesome! If you collect the SOMA RECORD SERIES, this is one of the hard-to-find ones. All in all, a beautiful addition to your SOMA or ECHO MEN collection. I cannot find much about this group, but if you look at the scans, the Music Publishing Company is actually the names of the guys who owned SOMA: "DANAMOS"--which would be Amos Heilicher and his brother Dan. They owned Musicland Stores, a record distributing company, and jukebox company. Evidently they also had a music publishing company too. Comes with a heavy green radio station sleeve.
