THIS RARE 78 BY THE EDSELS WAS RE-ISSUED IN THE EARLY 1970'S BY TWIN RECORD CORP NYC. ON THE TWIN RECORD LABEL # 700. SONGS ARE: RAMA LAMA DING DONG & BELLS. IT WAS NEVER RELEASED ON 78 IN CANADA OR THE U.S. AND THE ORIGINAL FROM 1958 WAS ON 45rpm. THIS ONE IS A NEW OLD STOCK NEVER PLAYED 78 WITH GLOSS AND LUSTER AS YOU WOULD EXPECT. I SELDOM USE MINT TO GRADE A RECORD BUT THIS ONE IS AN EXCEPTION TO THE RULE. IT IS MEANT TO BE PLAYED ON EQUIPMENT WITH A LITE TONE ARM, AND NOT THE OLD HEAVY NEEDLE. These Collectable 78's are getting very hard to find anymore, and the good ones are quickly becoming scarce. This 78 is from the large collection of Rock & Roll and R&B 78's that I have in my personal collection, and it would pay to mark this site as one of your favorites as there will be plenty more to come.
