Description

THE END
Introspection

(Decca SKLR 5015)

Here's a lovely copy of one of the rarest major label UK LPs of the late 1960s. Produced by Bill Wyman, it was recorded well before its December 1969 release (when it had to compete with Let It Bleed), but internal politics with Allen Klein delayed it until it had no hope of selling. It’s a shame, as it’s one of the only consistent psychedelic albums to emerge from the UK, with no comedy songs or covers in sight, just loads of strange rock songs packed with Hammond organ, fuzz guitar, tabla and more. This is a lovely stereo copy (the mono is simply a flattened version of this mix).

COVER

The front-laminated sleeve is in VG+ to EX shape, let down only by a small damaged patch to the top right hand corner of the back cover (see picture). Otherwise it’s lovely, with no splits, minimal creasing and a fully legible spine.

VINYL

The disc is in terrific EX shape, with only minor signs of use, and plays beautifully, with minimal surface noise. This will be hard to upgrade. It comes complete with its blue Decca inner sleeve.

The above description is honest and accurate. This is guaranteed not to be a bootleg or counterfeit. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch.
