Description
Hope you've heard both sides of this wonderful 1966 garage 45 from a LaPorte, Indiana act known as The Endd. Russ Sanders was the band's leader, singing, arranging, and playing on all their material and writing most of it. He also is said to have issued the records out of his own house.
Here, the ripping rocker "Project Blue" (also recorded by The Banshees, whose Ron Rouse wrote it) is ably balanced by the marvelous edgy, midtempo "Out of My Hands," which cascades through various guitar effects into a full-on fuzz solo at the end. To me, it's one of the absolute greatest American garage songs. It's on Pebbles Vol. 9, but I daresay this copy, which rates VG+, sounds better than that LP's version.
Both sides of this record have fine labels, very good gloss, and play very well with little surface noise.
