Superb UK mod item by the cult Liverpool group who first performed at the Blue Angel (a club once owned by Allan Williams, The Beatles manager before Brian Epstein). Their version of The Addrisi Brothers "C'mon Home Baby" is one of the best examples of the Merseybeat sound. Fabulous lead vocals, harmony backing and gritty r&b that easily rivaled the amphetamine induced mod jangle of London's Soho scene. Crude guitar break midway too. SideB is another fine example of the genre. Less aggressive and more melodic with cheeky lyrics directed at an imaginary girlfriend. Disc cut loud with big production sound. Great for DJs! Original 3-prong centre intact. Difficult to find in nice condition like our copy (which is most desirable issue too ;)
