THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 1967 COPY NOT A BOOTLEG OR A REPRODUCTION!
Here’s one you don’t see very often – the classic debut 45 from The Fairytale with a great A-side which begins sounding akin to later Krautrock rhythms (to my ears!). Obviously, the summery psychedelic melody then takes over but this is an unusual and original single which I can bring to you in way above average, hardly played condition.
Supplied in the correct blue ‘swirl’ company sleeve. Possibly its original in better than very good condition – no splits or tears and with a wavy top.
The labels are great – NO writing, rips, residue or other damage. A couple of light spindle lines to the A, nothing really to report on the B. Very well preserved set of these vintage 1967 labels. Nice!
The vinyl comes in overall at EX+ (Excellent Plus) condition visually. Just ONE light and thin scuff line to the B-side and possibly some very inconspicuous sleeve removal rubs if you look super close. But overall a very fine looking disc with NO scratches or embedded dirt and maintaining virtually full shine even after all these years. IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and apart from a couple of soft ticks over the 2 sides sounds A1 with NO snap, clicking, pops, distortion or crackle (silent run-ins). A very clear listen with no loss of definition. Play grade matches the visual one!
A rare record which only shows once in a while, this is a great copy of this classic, sought after UK Psych 45. Don’t miss!
