Awesome album by one of punk / post punk's gratest (yes I spelled it right lol), The Fall's 1980 masterwork "Grotesque", a 1st pressing on Rough Trade Records. The vinyl on here is wonderful EXCEPT it has a scratch on Song 1 Side 2, BUT, even though you can feel the very straight mark (as if someone used a ruler, I wouldn't be surprised if Mark E Smith and his personal anarchy bent had it done on purpose lol not), when I listened to it, you may hear a half dozen ENORMOUSLY QUIET POPS, maybe not even that many. It was truly shocking not to hear any issue. Trust me when I say that if you weren't to have noticed it, or read about it here, you would probably have never noticed it had this mark. Well, vinyl is a funny thing, and amazingly resilient. If I had my druthers, this would be considered Excellent just on its sound quality. If you look at the last photo, I've blown up a picture of the mark and a bit of dust lol for you to see the issue, and it has now been cleaned in our SpinDisc. The cover is really cool, and its made from a rough card stock, and is a bit firmer than typical UK covers from the period. The corners have just a hint of bumping, the spine is very legible, and there's NO splitting. This is NOT A REISSUE, and its not a cutout copy so NO cut corners, NO saw marks, and NO holes, just a very cool cover in great shape. If you don't see and hear this vinyl as I've described it, I will absolutely take it back.
