  1) THE FALL LP TOTALE'S TURNS - IT'S NOW OR NEVER (Go International/Base Records Italy GI LP 10).

  2) THE FALL 12" "C.R.E.E.P." b/w "PAT-TRIP DISPENSER" & "CREEP" *on GREEN VINYL* (Beggars Banquet Records BEG 116T). UK - Released 1984.

  3) SHOUT BAMALAM 12" AMBITION, THE GROOVER & GREED (w/ "JEEPSTER" & "RECOGNITION" b/w "STIRRED" & "DOPPEL GANG" (Flexible Bullets Records FBL 001). UK - Released 1988.


   One early Italian pressing & two original British pressings.

  1) The Totale's Turn LP was mostly recorded live in 1979 & 1980 in four English cities. It features singer Mark E. Smith & the fetching band showing off, among other talents, their "rockabilly" licks. Liner notes are not entirely complimentary of the band's ouevre. Totale's Turns was originally released in the UK in 1980 on Rough Trade. This Italian pressing on Go International came along soon afterwards.

  2) "CREEP", with its dazzling green vinyl, is taken from the album, The Wonderful & Frightening World of the Fall. The B-side, Pat-Trip Dispenser" is not on the LP and quite hard to find! Produced by John Leckie & engineered by J. Gillingham. Very witchy cover design!

 3) The four-cut 12" EP by Shout Bamalam stands as one of the rarest of the many Fall collectibles. They were a Manchester side project of Fall drummer/keyboardist Paul Hanley and dudes from Marc Riley & the Creepers. The record opens with a fine version of the T. Rex song "Jeepster." The band photo on the back appears to be some sort of disrespectful re-enactment of the Crucifixion.

The Fall's full length debut on Rough Trade was not the expected new studio follow up to Dragnet (the brilliant Grotesque, to be released later in 1980) but a dissonant mixture of live tracks and home demos. Yet, this is the Fall running at 100% and putting out a beautiful lo-fi patchwork that catches Mark E. Smith's quiet fury and the band's true attitude and sound through intimate and funny versions of their most convincing tunes such as "Fiery Jack", "Rowche Rumble" and "No Xmas for John Quays."

    Except for some faint little specks on the back cover of Totale's Turns, the covers have no seam splits, stains, marks, cuts, tears, smudges, scuffs, abrasions, bubbles, water damage, cut-out marks, writing, price tags, tape, stickers or color fading. No speckling or rubbing; no corner banging. Totale's Turns has a faint bit of ring wear, but not the others. Nice slick reflective coating on covers. Spines are excellent: fully readable. Deep rich color throughout covers & labels. Labels are excellent with no blemishes & sharp-cut holes. 

  DISCS - NEAR MINT

  We give great importance to grading our items accurately. All three discs are free of scratches, scuffs, pits, stains, streaking, abrasions, or residue on the disc or dead wax. Nice reflective sheen on disc surfaces. The amazing green vinyl on "CREEP" is uniform & free of streaking. Albums have been safely stored upright in climate-controlled conditions.
