You are bidding on THE FEELIES "The Good Earth" album (12" 33 1/3 rpm vinyl). Released on Coyote records in 1986 (TTC 8673) - this is the American pressing. Band was: GLEN MERCER, vocals, guitars - BILL MILLION, guitars - BRENDA SAUTER, bass - STANLEY DEMESKI, drums - DAVE WECKERMAN, percussion. See the photos for the track listing.
Produced by Peter Buck of REM, this was the second Feelies album. A great disc! Vinyl is near mint, as is the album cover, I just removed the original shrink-wrap when I took these pictures.
Robert Christgau's review: "The Good Earth [Coyote, 1986]? Coproducer Peter Buck is occasioning harrumphs about how suddenly they sound like R.E.M., but if anything R.E.M. sounds like them with excess baggage: aching lyricism, gorgeous hooks, mumbled poetry--in a word, corn. The Feelies, in turn, sound a lot like a classic band called the Velvet Underground. And like themselves, unmistakably, even though six years and Peter Buck have rounded off their gawky corners and filled out their sound. A- (grade)"
