THE FIRE ESCAPE – “Psychotic Reaction” (1967) GNP Crescendo-2034 original pressing M-/EX (cover/record)
Killer San Francisco exploito garage-psych album coordinated by Larry Goldberg and Hank Levine with the help of session players. There are a number of covers of garage hits of the day like the title track, “96 Tears,” “Talk Talk,” etc., but it also contains a few originals as well like “Blood Beat,” “Journey’s End,” and “L.S.D.” – which is supposed to stand for Love Special Delivery – not acid. Totally has the Seeds, Music Machine, Count Five, Kim Fowley, Michael Lloyd West Coast punk/garage/psych vibe happening. On the heavier side and really, really raw and good. Quite rare now.
This is an original STEREO pressing. The cover looks just about perfect with only a drill hole in the front top left corner. The original thick red label vinyl is glossy and beautiful with only a few light sleeve scuffs – really nice! Conservative grading: M-/EX (cover/record).

I highly recommend postal insurance to protect against any damage that might occur during shipping.
I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
