This is a VERY RARE original pressing lp 33.1/3 rpm of a budget label psychedelic exploitation album. One of the best of all time in this genre,an intriguing MYSTERY outfit whose albums contains over the top pounding fuzz attack with tortured vocals and crude ripping guitars,mega sought and stands up as a solid ravaging heavy garage psych album overloaded by fuzzed-up guitar and drunken vocals....A thoroughly intriguing & engaging album that appeared on the Crown label in 1969. Absolutely nothing is known about the band other than their albums have become highly sought-after for their over-the-top heavy psych-blues-rock mayhem that owes much to Jimi Hendrix Experience meets Blue Cheer`s Vincebus Eruptum.The Firebirds also known as "31st Flavour" (they made a similar album called "Hair") manage to tear a new hole in the delicate fabric of stoned-dead Blue Cheer style acid-guitar nightmare rock. Burried under an avalanch of toxic-fuzz, the all-fills-all-the-time drums despratly try to dig, nay, beat their way out of this flash-back induced garage hell. The punchy bass acts as the massive counter-weight, giving force from the back, and the drunken-Robert Plant vocals gives this warship its direction...watchout!

The Crown label is known for their albums to wear almost standing still, we've seen covers of this album in shrink wrap with wear (amazing)...!

LP condition GRADING system:

M (MINT) : Sealed, never opened or played, new in original package.

NM (NEAR MINT) : Near perfect copy, played only a few times. At worst it may have one or two insignificant flaws. This is the highest grade I give for a non-sealed (used) record.

EX (EXCELLENT) : Clean copy, slight surface marks/hairlines, cover has minor defaults.

VG++ (VERY GOOD++) : More surface marks, minor flaws, or cover wear, minor edge wear (cover). Nothing serious but is not graded EX because of few minor defaults

VG+ (VERY GOOD +) : Played a lot, will show signs of handling, has marks, possibly few light scratches but no jumps or sticks. Cover wear (light ring wear, heavier corner or edge wear on cover)

VG (VERY GOOD) : Used record, played a lot, has marks, few scratches, some crackling while playing and but no jumps or sticks. Still quite listenable. Cover may have heavy corner, edge wear or split seams

G (GOOD) : Played a lot and more (but still playable), lot of scratches, crackles a lot while playing, may have jump or sticks and cover is damaged...so not so good ! This record must be very rare to be proposed in this state !!!
