A rare opportunity to bid for this very limited 12" by the Paul McCartney/Youth electronic music project,

The Fireman! Bought new, in a sale, shortly after release, it has just been carefully stored, unplayed, ever since!

A great chance to obtain this highly sought-after 12"!

Sleeve: Thick double gatefold card with the three outer surfaces finished in mottled yellow, each also having a line of Eastern text.

The middle of the three has a 162mm x 15mm red sticker which has the black silhouette of a fireman's head and helmet at one end

and the artist name and song title, plus catalogue number, at the other. The right-hand/rear outer face has the barcode (7 24388 75736 2)

and catalogue number, top-left, and the limited edition number (0459) printed in a white box, bottom-left. The three inner surfaces are

purple and, reading left to right, each have a piece of text: 1. 'the fireman, 2. 'fluid', 3. 'nitin sawhney remixes', printed in yellow. In addition,

the third/right-hand face has an image of a model fireman, with an extinguisher, aiming to put out a small fire. The six faces each have a

small notch in the centre of the top and bottom edges i.e. the non-folding edges. This was for the long, red rubber band which originally came

with and secured the package. I do still have the band and it will be included but, unfortunately, it perished and broke sometime ago. The

sleeve is fantastic condition for 22 years of age, with just the merest hint of wear at the extreme corners of the external folds! Not coming

with an inner sleeve, the disc has lightly marked the centre of the two inner folds. The aforementioned red sticker also has a light crease in

the top-left corner where it has lifted from the surface. Aside from these really minor issues, the sleeve looks superb!

Matrix Numbers: Side A - HYDRA 008 A-1-1-

Side B - HYDRA 008 B-1-1- There is also a crudely scratched character which looks like 'P' or 'd'.

Vinyl: Very clean, shiny and unplayed! Both sides show a faint, narrow band across the centre of the

disc, with a smaller, partial band off to one side. I think this could have been caused by the pressure of

the original rubber band through possible stacking/storage/delivery. The marks cannot be felt with a finger tip.

Labels: Side A has the same yellow design as the external surfaces of the sleeve, plus text showing the artist name,

remix title and track listing for that side. Side B has a colour photo showing the lower half of a person in colourful shorts,

crouching down, facing a white wall, plus track listing for the side.
