THE FORETHOUGHTS "Boatman's Cry/Ho Jamalo/Shahbaz Qalander/Jugnee" (Gramophone Company of Pakistan 20003)

Now, this is one EP which is simply up for grabs if you are at all interested in Eastern psych. The band is one of the earliest bands to experiment with beat sound over their own folk roots in Pakistan and so very seriously rare in its native land, it's simply impossible to find. There are no wild fuzz leads here but very nice freakbeat renditions with raw guitar-organ leads. The EP is from around 1967-68! Plus, the record is pressed on nice looking yellow based color vinyl! Not something you see in years and very exciting to listen to. Disc is in VG++ shape, plays just a bit with occasional clicks. Cover is also around VG+ to VG++.
