This is an absolute monster. I don't know how this record evaded me in the past. I was listening to one psych masterpiece after another, and maybe the flashy stuff is just what stuck with me and parts of this are subtle. Which is funny, because this now seems so emblematic and quintessentially psychedelic to me. It's all in the songwriting logic. The attitude here is the perfect reminder you needed of what psychedelia is. The real deal. Comparisons to Bosstown peers Ultimate Spinach are apt but the songwriting here feels a bit more mature. And they were only teenagers? Far out!
