Very nice copy of the original 1958 stereo pressing of The French Touch, music by Ravel, Dukas, and Saint-Saëns conducted by Charles Munch with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, on RCA shaded dog LSC-2292. 1S/2S stampers. This copy has some very light wear, but still plays beautifully. There is a touch of very faint background noise in places, and an occasional light tick. These things are present but not pervasive and not terribly obtrusive. A completely enjoyable and gorgeous sounding copy, but not absolutely perfect. I am only passing it along because I have heard it so much I don't need to listen to it any more. It is such a beautiful record it is almost unbeatable, and this copy really does it justice. The cover is simply gorgeous, too, with barely any issue at all. Light, light signs of use, maybe, and a small piece of red tape at the top edge which seems to have been used to identify the owner's records... anyhow it is a very nice original copy.
